MEDNAX Acquires South Oakland Anesthesia Associates

MEDNAX has acquired South Oakland Anesthesia Associates of Troy, Mich., which provides anesthesia services to three hospitals, four ambulatory surgery centers, one eye center and four pain management centers, according to Street Insider.

South Oakland and its 73 anesthesiologists will be the first Michigan practice to join MEDNAX’s American Anesthesiology division of 16 practices in eight states, according to the report.
