Here are four notes:
1. The private physician group practice employs 90 clinicians — 70 anesthesiologists, 13 anesthetists, two nurse practitioners and five physician assistants.
2. More than 20 of NJAA’s physicians have advanced training in anesthesia sub-specialties, particularly cardiac and pediatric anesthesia.
3. The practice provides a full spectrum of anesthesia services at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.
4. As part of this transaction, MEDNAX will also acquire Health Network Management, a billing management company that is affiliated with NJAA.
