Medical College of Wisconsin Names Dr. William Clarke Director of Research Commercialization

Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee announced the appointment of William Clarke, MD, as director of research commercialization.

Dr. Clarke is an associate professor of anesthesiology and pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a pediatric anesthesiologist at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has previously served as president and CEO of Cellectar, a pharmaceutical company as well as executive vice president and CMO of GE Healthcare. In his new role, he will work with faculty members who wish to establish new companies based upon technology they have developed.

Dr. Clarke completed residencies in anesthesiology and pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle.
