Long Island Business News has named three North American Partners in Anesthesia practitioners 2014 Healthcare Heroes.

The NAPA winners include:

•    John Di Capua, MD, NAPA CEO and chairman of the department of anesthesiology at North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
•    Neil Kirschen, MD, chief of pain management, department of anesthesiology at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y.
•    Winston Joseph, CRNA, chief CRNA at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y.
