Anesthesiologists are the highest-paid professionals in Kansas, with an average hourly wage of $140.42, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported based on an annual labor survey.

2. Eight of the 10 top-paying jobs in Kansas were in healthcare. Food preparation and serving-related jobs were among the lowest compensated.
