Here’s what you should know.
1. Pending academic review, Dr. Rehman will also serve as an anesthesia and critical care professor.
2. The hospital tasked Dr. Rehman with establishing a perioperative health informatics unit within the hospital’s Health Informatics Core division.
3. Dr. Rehman is coming to Johns Hopkins after a tenure at the Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania.
4. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital President and Vice Dean Jonathan Ellen, MD, said in a release, “Dr. Rehman’s expertise will help innovate our anesthesia program and perioperative care by the use of data analytics for real time assessment of patients in the operating room.”
