Illinois anesthesia team joins North American Partners in Anesthesia

Little Company of Mary Hospital's anesthesia team will become part of Melville, N.Y.-based North American Partners in Anesthesia on Aug. 5, according to Long Island Business News.

Three insights:

1. LCMH will benefit from NAPA's significant Chicagoland presence, national scale and infrastructure, according to LCMH President and CEO John Hanlon, MD.

2. NAPA's regional infrastructure will give LCMH "exceptional flexibility" and expand opportunities for the hospital's anesthesia clinicians, said NAPA CEO John F. Di Capua, MD.

3. LCMH is an independent, nonprofit hospital in Evergreen Park, Ill. NAPA is one of the country's largest anesthesia and perioperative management companies, serving more than 1.2 million patients annually.
