Hawaii medical center pivots to Plexus Technology Group's Anesthesia Touch — 4 insights

Hilo (Hawaii) Medical Center transitioned its anesthesia documentation from a paper system to Plexus Technology Group's Anesthesia Touch platform.

Here's what you should know:

1. The medical center was searching for an anesthesia information management system and it selected Plexus for its "interoperability, mobility and ease of use."

2. The medical center will integrate Anesthesia Touch documentation with its Meditech EMR system.

3. Hilo Medical Center Anesthesia Services Medical Director Steve Lazaro, MD, said in a release, "Plexus has proven to be a welcome partner in delivering a user friendly and adaptable [anesthesia information management system] at Hilo Medical Center. The Plexus team has been readily available to assist in providing solutions to optimize workflow."

4. Plexus Technology Group CEO Tony Mira praised Hilo Medical Center's commitment to incorporating technology into its workflow.
