According to the FDA’s website, the following state of the propofol injection shortage is as follows:
- Teva Pharmaceuticals has recently released some propofol 20-mL, 50-mL and 100-mL vials and expects additional quantities over the coming months.
- Hospira Pharmaceuticals has released some propofol 20-mL, 50-mL and 100-mL and expects additional quantities in the coming months.
- APP has increased production in response to the increased demand as well as received approval to release imported Fresenius Propoven 1%.
