Dr. Robert Brooker of Sheridan Healthcare to Discuss Blood Conservation at ASA Meeting

Sheridan Healthcare’s Robert Brooker, MD, will present at the upcoming American Society of Anesthesiologists’ annual meeting in San Francisco this month.

Dr. Brooker’s presentation will discuss the successful blood conservation program he implemented at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. The program showed that blood conservation practices can reduce hospital transfusions in number and amount of blood used.

Dr. Brooker is the chief of cardiac anesthesia at Memorial Regional Hospital. Sheridan Healthcare is a hospital-based multispecialty physician services company and national anesthesia services provider.
