Dr. Suresh has served as interim chair since 2007 and joined BCM faculty in 1991.
She received her undergraduate training at Women’s College and her MD from Gandhi Medical College, both in Hyderabad, India. Her postgraduate training was done in India, Barbados and the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. She completed her residency training at Medical College of Virginia and fellowships in obstetric anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia from Harvard Medical School affiliates.
