1. Dr. Frost has more than 50 years of experience and is considered one of the most accomplished anesthesiologists in the U.S.

2. She is a clinical professor of anesthesiology at New York City-based Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Before stepping into her current role, she served as an attending anesthesiologist at Veteran Affairs Medical Center in New York City and as a professor of anesthesiology at New York City-based New York Medical College.

3. She earned her medical degree from Glasgow, Scotland-based University of Glasgow. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Englewood (N.J.) Hospital, and a residency in anesthesiology from New York City-based New York Hospital.

4. Dr. Frost is the current editor-in-chief of Topics in Pain Management. She edited several other scientific journals and is credited with authoring more than 20 books on anesthesiology and 150 research articles.

5. Dr. Frost has received several honors including the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists' Distinguished Service Award for Contributions to Anesthesia and the Society of Neurosurgical Anesthesia and Neurological Support Care's Distinguished Service Award for Contributions to Neuroscience.
