1. Dr. Bitonte donated the money to go towards the college’s commencement ceremony to recruit possible speakers.
2. Dr. Bitonte began his career after earning his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency at Pittsburgh-based UPMC and a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
3. He was a longtime anesthesiologist at Alliance (Ohio) Community Hospital. He has since retired.
