1. Dr. Johnson is a palliative medicine physician with Palliative Medical Associates, which is affiliated with Miami-based Vitas Healthcare. The addition of Dr. Johnson will extend a partnership between Methodist Hospital and Vitas Healthcare
2. After earning her medical degree from University of Texas at Galveston, she completed two fellowships; one in pediatric hematology/oncology at Charlottesville-based University of Virginia and the other in hospice and palliative medicine at San Antonio-based University of Texas.
3. Dr. Johnson will be the primary physician on the hospital’s palliative care team.
