Anesthesiologist Dr. Richard Vann Receives Albert R. Behnke Award

Duke University School of Medicine assistant anesthesiology professor Richard Vann, MD, has received the Albert R. Behnke Award at the annual meeting of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society.

The award recognizes scientific contributions to advances in the undersea biomedical field. Dr. Vann’s research specialties include decompression modeling, dive computers, nitrox diving and flying after diving.
