Dr. Leybel has more than 38 years of healthcare experience. After earning his medical degree from Dzaudzikau, Russia-based Severo Ossetinskij Medical Institute, he completed a residency at New York City-based Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and a second residency and fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City.
He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is one of only 200 physicians in the U.S. certified in both specialties.
Dr. Leybel specializes in treating Parkinson’s disease, headaches, stroke, Bell’s palsy, Alzheimer’s disease and carpal tunnel syndrome, among others.
