Does living with a partner reduce anesthesiologist burnout?

Living with a partner does not have a significant effect on levels of burnout among anesthesiologists, according to the Medscape Anesthesiologist Lifestyle Report 2015.

Among anesthesiologists living with a partner, 57 percent reported not being burned out as compared to 43 percent who said they are. Of anesthesiologists living without partners, 48 percent report burnout, while 52 percent do not.
