Dr. Barnett is an associate professor of anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and has been on staff at Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for more than 20 years, according to a Sept. 12 press release.
She most recently served as director of quality for community anesthesia for Harvard Faculty Medical Physicians at Beth Israel Lahey Health.
She is triple board-certified in anesthesiology, internal medicine and geriatric medicine, and has served on multiple committees for geriatrics and quality within the American Society of Anesthesiology and is a board member of the Anesthesia Quality Institute.
She began her tenure with Dartmouth on Aug. 19.
