“[Dr. Lavine] is filling a critical gap for us as we search for another full-time anesthesiologist to join our staff in Niger,” said Leron Lehman, executive director of CURE Hopital des Enfants au Niger.
Dr. Lavine is trying to secure a sevoflurane vaporizer and a carbon dioxide detector for the trip, which would allow the children’s hospital to provide better safety for patients under anesthesia.
