Salt Lake City-based CHG Healthcare has acquired KREWE Anesthesia, a company specializing in CRNA staffing.
KREWE Anesthesia, which was founded by practicing CRNAs, matches providers into single-role locum placements and ongoing managed services, according to an Aug. 11 news release from CHG Healthcare.
According to research from CHG Healthcare, CRNAs are one of the most difficult provider roles to fill. KREWE Anesthesia reports about 84% annual clinical retention, higher than typical locum tenens benchmarks.
Gavin Baker, KREWE Anesthesia’s CEO, and Chase Chiasson, KREWE’s president, will remain with the company following the transaction, the release said.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
