Anesthesia groups can now use Casetabs to coordinate cases with surgery centers.
Here's what you should know.
1. Surgery centers can send a list of cases that need to be covered to an anesthesia group. The anesthesia group can then assign its providers to the cases, with an alert being sent to both parties once an assignment is confirmed.
2. Casetabs CEO Gavin Fabian said the company aims to break down silos.
"We have broken down the barriers between surgery centers and anesthesia groups to provide seamless surgical coordination and communication from the moment a case is scheduled all the way through discharge," he said.
3. Casetabs is accessible through laptops and mobile devices. The platform eliminates the need for fragmented communication methods.
