Momentum Health Partners has expanded its investment in Desert Pain Specialists, deepening a partnership first formed in 2023 to grow the Rancho Mirage, California-based interventional pain management practice, Real Estate Daily News reported Aug. 20.
The Phoenix-based healthcare platform company deployed additional capital into DPS following the successful acquisition and integration of Dr. Roland Reinhart’s pain management practice.
The new capital will fund physician recruitment, service line expansion and continued operational growth for DPS, which serves patients across California’s Coachella Valley. The practice has posted strong growth in new patient volumes since integrating with Momentum Health Partners.
Ryan Harper, partner at Momentum Health Partners, said the additional investment reflects confidence in the DPS team. “This additional investment reflects our confidence in the team and our commitment to supporting DPS as it expands access to interventional pain management services throughout the Coachella Valley,” Mr. Harper said.
DPS operates as an independent interventional pain management provider in the Coachella Valley. Momentum Health Partners invests across four healthcare verticals: autism therapy, developmental therapies, behavioral health and specialty ambulatory care, positioning DPS for continued growth as demand for interventional pain management services rises across the region.
