Best and Brightest included the American Society of Anesthesiologists among its "2017 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" in the nation.

1. ASA was previously a winner in a past edition of the list's Chicago edition.
2. Best and Brightest honored a total of 437 national organizations from across the country. Approximately 2,000 companies were nominated for the honor.
3. An independent research firm evaluated each nominee on a variety of factors including compensation, benefits and employee solutions as well as employee enrichment, engagement and retention.
4. ASA CEO Paul Pomerantz said, "Being named a national winner, in addition to being a Chicago area winner is an outstanding achievement for our society. We value our team members and are proud of the culture we have created. ASA continuously strives to be a leader in employment standards."
