ASA affiliates receive American Society of Association Executives’ Power of A award

Two American Society of Anesthesiologists affiliated organizations have won the 2014 Power of A Award, presented by the American Society of Association Executives.

The ASA Global Humanitarian Outreach program and the Anesthesia Quality Institute, the ASA’s patient safety organization and Qualified Clinical Data Registry were given the award.

ASAE’s Power of A Awards recognize the associations and industry professionals for their valuable contributions at the local, national and global level.

“ASA’s GHO and AQI programs are great examples of the transformative impact associations have on society,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, CAE.
