Dr. Quirk completed his medical training at The Brown-Dartmouth Program in Medicine in Providence, R.I., and completed both his medical internship and residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Following that, he completed a clinical research fellowship in gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital, during which time he also earned a masters degree in public health from Harvard.
