Anesthesia Safety Products receives FDA clearance for AirPurge System

Anesthesia Safety Products received a De Novo Class II clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market the new AirPurge System.

The AirPurge System is a device that traps and disposes of air bubbles automatically in intravenous lines during the administration of intravenous solutions. It unobtrusively monitors the intravenous line and does not require any manual intervention. It incorporates single-use, disposable cartridges.
