Anesthesia group launches automated charting at 10+ hospitals, surgery centers: 4 notes

Anesthesia services provider PhyMed Healthcare Group deployed Neximatic’s automated vital sign charting solution to more than 10 hospitals and surgery centers.

Here are four notes:

1. PhyMed deployed the solution at the facilities within six months.

2. Neximatic’s solution can be installed in a 12-OR facility in half a day, and auto-charting can begin the next morning, according to CIO Ryan Dorr.

3. The installation doesn’t require new IT infrastructure, he said.

4. With Neximatic’s solution integrated into PhyMed’s EHR system, providers don’t need to manually record vital signs on charts.
