ABC’s F1RSTUse was designed to make implementing the meaningful use requirement easier. The software is certified as “complete EHR” as opposed to other AIMS products, which only meet “modular” classification.

The software is entirely Web-based and requires no infrastructure support from the hospital, practice or provider. It also does not require an existing EMR be in place. F1RSTUse combines EHR technology with a personal health record system to let anesthesiologists offer the follow-up required by meaningful use.
