AmSurg acquires Ambulatory Anesthesia Associates, Genesis Anesthesia Services: 3 notes

AmSurg’s physician services division has acquired two anesthesia practices in southern California: Ambulatory Anesthesia Associates and Genesis Anesthesia Services.

1. AmSurg’s physician services division, Sheridan, provides outsourced physician services to ASCs, hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

2. Together, these two practices employ 27 physicians who cover six independent healthcare facilities.

3. This agreement marks Sheridan’s entrance into the southern California market. AmSurg already has partnerships with more than 6,000 physicians and healthcare professionals across the country.
