American Pain Society Names Dr. Gregory Terman President

The American Pain Society has named Gregory W. Terman, MD, PhD, president for a two-year term.

Dr. Terman is a professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. He has been a member of the society since 1982 and has served in a number of leadership roles, including chairing the Advocacy Domain, Scientific Program and Professional Development committees.  

Dr. Terman has served as director of pain research for the department of anesthesiology and pain medicine and is the current director of the acute pain service at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.
