1. Dr. Hughes has been in practice since 2008.
2. He began his career after earning his medical degree from Omaha, Neb.-based Creighton University. He completed his residency at Houston-based Baylor University and his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
3. Dr. Hughes is a Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Anesthesiologists and Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists member.
4. Outside of his practice, Dr. Hughes is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
