Here are five anesthesiology practice mergers and acquisitions that occurred with the last four months.

MEDNAX acquired Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Anesthesia Associates, a physician group practice.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based MEDNAX announced the acquisition of Mt. Kisco, N.Y.-based Northern Westchester Anesthesia Services.

Sunrise, Fla.-based Sheridan Healthcare announced the acquisition of San Ramon, Calif.-based Medical Anesthesia Consultants Medical Group, perioperative care provider and independent anesthesia group.

Nashville, Tenn.-based PhyMed Healthcare Group, a physician-owned company comprised of anesthesia, pain management and critical care professionals, announced that Lebanon (Pa.) Anesthesia Associates has joined the PhyMed network of physician-owned anesthesia practices.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth announced it has acquired Orlando-based Wolverine Anesthesia Consultants.
