Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision Physician Services named H. Cory Weitzner, MD, its 2018 Anesthesiology Physician of the Year because of his leadership and commitment to patients.

1. Dr. Weitzner is an anesthesiologist and chief of staff at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, Fla.
2. He serves as Envision Physician Services' regional medical director, supporting a large swath of Northern Florida practices.
3. Dr. Weitzner earned his medical degree from Great River, N.Y.-based St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Livingston, N.J.-based St. Barnabas Medical Center and a residency at University of Louisville (Ky.).
