3 things to know about Portneuf Medical Center’s new CMO Dr. Dan Snell

Pocatello, Idaho-based Portneuf Medical Center appointed anesthesiologist Dan Snell, MD, as its new CMO.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Snell will be splitting his time in the role. Eighty percent of his day will be dedicated to being CMO, while 20 percent will be dedicated to being an anesthesiologist. He’ll be Portneuf’s first CMO in “many years,” according to a release.

2. Dr. Snell has a medical degree and a master of public health degree from Salt Lake City-based University of Utah.

3. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
