3 recent anesthesia acquisitions, openings & more

In recent weeks, an anesthesia organization shut down and pain groups announced transactions.

The Academy of Integrative Pain Management decided to cease operations, citing financial problems and other factors.

Phoenix-based Anesthesia Resources joined Richardson, Texas-based National Partners in Healthcare.

Allied Pain & Spine Institute opened an office in Mountain View, Calif. The group has two other locations in San Jose, Calif., and one in Los Gatos, Calif.
