3 points on Medical College of Wisconsin’s new anesthesiologist assistant program

Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee has created new Master of Science in Anesthesia – Anesthesiologist Assistant Program, according to Lake County Now report.

Here are three points:

1. The 26-month program is the first program in the state, and one of 11 nationwide, to train anesthesiologist assistants.

2. The initial funding for the development of the program is being provided by the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment.

3. The program is expected to welcome its inaugural class in August of 2016.
