The poll, done in conjunction with Quest Diagnostics, found that among people ages 60-70 who had been previously screened for colon cancer, 33 percent said they had been screened once, 22 percent said they had been screened twice and 24 percent said they had never been screened at all.
Recommended screening tests include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy or virtual colonoscopy and fecal occult blood or immunochemical tests.
