Mohawk Valley Health System cuts ribbon on ASC

Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System has cut the ribbon on a new ASC in Utica. 

The Mohawk Valley Surgery Center includes four operating rooms, according to a Dec. 3 news release from the health system.

Specialties at the center include hand surgery, podiatry, urology and general surgery. 

MVHS aims to have the center patient-ready by Dec. 15 and hopes to receive regulatory clearance to begin scheduling surgical cases by mid-January, the release said.
