UChicago Medicine Crown Point (Ind.) is expanding its multispecialty clinic and ASC.

The expansion will add 7,442 square feet, including 18 new exam rooms, one operating room, two procedures rooms and five pre and postsurgical bays, according to an Oct. 29 news release from UChicago Medicine.

Expansion of the ASC is expected to be completed in spring 2026. The existing 130,000-square-foot building originally opened in April 2024.

The project will not impact hospital operations or patient visits, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
