Thomasville, Ga.-based Archbold has started construction on a 58,679-square-foot outpatient facility that will house orthopedic and specialty services.

The Archbold Multispecialty & Surgery Center will house an outpatient orthopedic surgery center on the first floor and clinic space for several specialty practices on the second floor. It will be built between the system’s cancer and ambulatory care centers located near Archbold Memorial Hospital, according to an Oct. 16 system news release.

The facility will also feature a 3T MRI scanner.

Construction is expected to be completed by February 2027.
