Mountain Home, Ark.-based Baxter Health has added Victoria Belopolsky, MD, to its medical staff as a cardiac anesthesiologist.
Dr. Belopolsky has more than 20 years of experience in cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesiology, transplant anesthesia and perioperative care. She most recently served as a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist at Penn Highlands DuBois (Pa.) Hospital, according to an Oct. 13 system news release.
Her previous roles include assistant professor of cardiothoracic anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2009 to 2019 and staff anesthesiologist at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill., where she practiced both cardiothoracic and general anesthesiology.
She completed her anesthesiology training at the University at Buffalo in New York and began her medical career in Kiev, Ukraine.
