Physician-owned ASC to open in Arkansas

An ASC owned by six physicians will soon open in Springfield, Ark., Arkansas Business reported Oct. 13.

Lakeside Surgery Center will span 9,000-square-feet and offer ophthalmology and otolaryngology, according to the report. The ASC is set to open in December.

The facility will open near the ENT Center of the Ozarks, where partners Felicia Johnson, MD, Kevin Lollar, MD and Cory Vaughn, MD currently practice. The ophthalmologists, Sarah Covey, MD, Peter Daut, MD and Paul Henry, MD, are partners at the Henry Eye Clinic in Fayetteville.
