Anesthesiologist named president of Washington State Medical Association

The Washington State Medical Association has inaugurated Bridget Bush, MD, as its president. 

Dr. Bush is a practicing anesthesiologist at Optum Care Washington in Everett. In addition,  serves on the clinical faculty at Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, according to a Sept. 22 news release from the WSMA. 

Dr. Bush is past president of the Washington State Society of Anesthesiologists and currently serves as the alternate director for Washington state for the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

The WSMA represents approximately 13,500 physicians, resident physicians, physician assistants and medical students throughout Washington state, the release said.
