Prairie Cardiovascular adds cardiologist

Springfield, Ill.-based Prairie Cardiovascular has added Muhammad Sheikh, MD, as an interventional cardiologist with a focus on complex coronary arterial disease and structural heart conditions, according to an Aug. 25 report by RiverBender

Dr. Sheikh completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Ill., where he served as chief fellow, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He is seeing patients at Prairie Cardiovascular at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Ill.
