The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology names CRNA as new president

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology has appointed Jeffrey Molter, MSN, as its next president. 

Mr. Molter has been a CRNA for more than 25 years, and he currently practices at the Institute of Orthopedic Surgery in Lima, Ohio, according to an Aug. 13 news release from the AANA. 

Mr. Molter has been a member of the AANA since 1997, previously serving in national and committee roles within the association. In addition, he has served as president, president-elect and director of the Ohio State Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

The AANA is an organization of more than 65,000 members, the release said.
