ASC Association Nominates Surgery Center President for APC Panel

The Ambulatory Surgery Association has nominated Denise Lascar, president of MedStar Surgery Center in Washington, D.C., to serve on the advisory panel on Ambulatory Payment Classification, according to the ASCA’s Government Update.

The APC Panel provides advice and recommendations to CMS regarding ambulatory payment classifications, which provide the basis for the ASC payment system.
