Miami-based Mount Sinai Medical Center has opened a new 33,000-square-foot outpatient facility in East Hialeah, Fla., expanding access to primary and specialty care in an underserved area, according to a July 31 Miami’s Community News report.
The site currently offers primary care and will add cardiology and urology services within 90 days. The center is part of a multiphase plan, with full occupancy expected over the next 18 to 24 months.
The opening supports Mount Sinai’s broader initiative to improve healthcare access across South Florida, alongside other projects in Westchester, Key West and Miami Beach.
