The $50 million facility will include four operating suites, two additional procedure rooms, six post-anesthesia care rooms, 16 prep and recovery stations and diagnostic imaging, according to a July 29 news release from the hospital.
In addition, the medical office building will have space for physician specialty clinics and new healthcare providers.
Construction on the three-story, 70,000-square-foot building is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
The hospital received CON approval from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board in March, the release said.
