NYU Langone Hospitals topped U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of the “Best Hospitals for Cardiology, Heart and Vascular Surgery” in 2025-26, earning a perfect score of 100 points.
The publication released the list July 29, which ranks the top 50 hospitals that care for patients with heart and vascular cases including heart transplants, implantation of cardiac devices, major chest procedures and patients with cardiovascular disease and other complex conditions such as endocarditis, heart failure and circulatory issues.
Each hospital was given a score with a possible 100 points, with the rating based on analysis of various data categories, including patient outcomes in medical and surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease, volume of high-risk patients, patient experience, nurse staffing, public transparency and advanced clinical technologies.
