Dr. Anthony Hamm Elected Co-Chair of AMA CPT Review Board

Anthony Hamm, DC, FACO, has been elected co-chair of the American Medical Association’s Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee Review Board, according to a Dynamic Chiropractic report.

The HCPAC develops recommendations on relative values for new and revised CPT codes for non-MD/DO services, according to the report. Dr. Hamm is the first chiropractic physician to hold the position. His two-year term begins in Sept. 2011.

In his role as HCPAC co-chair, Dr. Hamm will also sit on the AMA/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee, which makes annual commendations on relative values for new and revised services to CMS.
